Model of a heavy field howitzer called schwere Feldhaubitze or sFH 18. The gun was nicknamed Immergrün (Evergreen) and was the basic German division-level heavy howitzer used during World War II. It was an improvement over the 15 cm sFH 13 used during WWI but was still considered outdated compared to the weapons it faced. This howitzer was the first artillery weapon equipped with rocket-assisted ammunition which was used to increase range. The sFH 18 was also used in the self-propelled artillery piece schwere Panzerhaubitze 18/1 which was more commonly known as Hummel.
