The container ship is the most popular way to transport non-bulk cargo worldwide, with thousands operating today. The 3300TEU ship, 232 meters long and 32.2 meters wide is one of the most common sizes for container ships being able to travel to both medium and large container terminals. The model is an accurate depiction of the Laura Maersk container ship. This may well be one of the most detailed and accurate container ships available on the net. The model is highly accurate and has been built with great precision, a lot of time has been spent ensuring the skin is prototypical. The ship features a low detail bridge, hatch covers are removable and it also comes with a bow thruster complete with propeller. To keep the poly count down normal maps were used so that each container has only 6 polygons. The ship comes with 5 different 40' containers and 4 different 20' containers depicting major containers carriers. The ship is fully UVW unwrapped and the zip file contains a weathered set of textures as well as a clean looking set of textures and a re-skin kit.
