The EMD SD45 is a railroad classic, almost all major railways in US had it and for some engines to be operating still into the 21st century they were rebuilt as SD40-2M while keeping their original exterior appearance. This model is a highly accurate depiction of UP SD40-2M locomotive number 4968 one of Union Pacific's 121 SD40-2Ms. This may well be the most detailed SD45SD40-2M available on the net. The model is accurate to nuts and bolts and has been built with great precision, a lot of time has been spent ensuring this skin is prototypical and that this engine has Union Pacific's exclusive features like long hood positioned horns, correctly positioned headlights, AC unit. The model is fully UVW unwrapped and the zip file contains a weathered set of textures as well as a clean looking set of textures and a re-skin kit. The model has 9 textures, 7 of those are custom: 20482048 long hood skin 10241024 frame skin 1024512 truck skin 2048512 cab skin 512512 diamond plate 512512 diamond plate bump map 256*256 intake and radiator grill opacity map 2 standard max reflection maps all textures are in JPEG format The model uses only standard max materials. The scene was rendered with V-ray GI, lighting, cameras, street scene not included.
