Royalties and taxes
The3dStudio.com pays a 60% royalty on all product sales: If your product sells for $100, you receive a $60 royalty.
Members are paid at the beginning of each month for the previous month’s sales. For example: You will receive royalty payments in February for January’s sales. We do our best to send payments by the 10th of each month so that you will have your payment by the 11th for PayPal payments while check times vary based on postal deliveries to your location.
We currently can pay you via a Check or PayPal payments only (see http://www.paypal.com for details). All funds are sent in US Dollars. Payments made via Check are sent when your royalty amount is $50 or more before taxes. Payments made via PayPal are sent each month without any minimum balance requirements. If you wish, you may choose to change this $50 minimum (for Check payments) to a larger amount in the Payment Info section under Seller Home. If your royalty amount is less than $50, your account balance will roll over until it reaches $50 and royalties will be paid at that time.
If you live outside the USA, The3dstudio.com may be required by the US government to withhold taxes on royalties for orders placed by US residents. This tax depends on several factors and in many cases can be reduced to 0%. If you live outside the USA send us your tax forms! After we receive them we will email confirmation that you are ready to receive payment. Members who live in the USA are not required to send us tax forms and we do not withhold taxes on their royalties. For more information on taxes be sure to see our tax help section.
In order to receive royalty payments you must provide correct member payment information by going to the Profile section and clicking on the Payment Info link. The3dstudio.com is not responsible if you provide incorrect information.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that YOU are responsible for proving and maintaining accurate payment information under the Seller Home > Payment Info section of The3dStudio.com. We are NOT responsible for inaccurate or out of date information so always be sure to check your information before the 25th of each month to ensure it is accurate for payment in the next month.
You can track your royalty payments by selecting the Payment History report in the Seller Home > Reports section. This report will show you a real time list of all royalty payments.
