Stock image approval process

Like most stock images sites, products added to our Stock Photos / Images category go through an approval process. Unlike most stock sites, we handle the approval process in a much better and faster way.

First off, when you add a product it is instantly live on our website and listed with an Editorial Only license. From there, our reviewers will look at each and every image to see if it can be approved for a Royalty Free license.

To be listed for a Royalty Free license the image must be free of logos, trademarks, and other such items or it will remain as Editorial Only. If a recognizable person is in the photo then it must have a model release attached to it or it will remain as Editorial Only. Many buildings might require a property release to be added, and without one they too will remain as Editorial Only.

During that approval process, our reviews are also looking at the overall image to make sure it is something that is up to the quality that we want to offer. Images must be in JPG format and at least 3 mega pixels in size. Subpar images will be rejected and an email will be sent to you at that time.

Most images are reviewed within minutes of them being added to our site, though sometimes it takes several hours depending on how many we have to review at that time. The import thing is that your image is live on our site right away, no more waiting days or weeks like you do with other stock sites.
