Overview: Listing your resources on The3dStudio.com

The3dStudio.com offers an easy way for you to sell your 2D or 3D resources or give them away free. If you have 3D models, textures, stock images, tutorials, plugins, gallery art, or any other related resource you would like to share, keep reading.

The process for adding resources is very simple and completely automated…

1. If you have not already done so, create a free member account (it only takes a second).
2. The Sell section is the place to add, edit, or remove your resources.
3. To add a new resource you must first upload all related files for that resource. These files would include the actual resource (model, texture, etc) as well as a preview image. We suggest putting items like models and plugins in ZIP files first.
4. Each resource you add must have at least one preview image, but you can add as many as you like. The preview image should be a JPG or GIF image. If the image you upload is larger than 400x400 pixels we will scale it down for you. We will also create a thumbnail version of the image as well. If you are adding an item like a texture or gallery image we will use that same file for the preview image.
5. Once you upload all files for the resource you are adding, you click on the Create Products sub-link under Sell. Now you can select the main resource file you wish to turn into a product.
6. Next you will enter all details about the product you are creating. This will include items like the name, keywords, description, and price (you can enter FREE or an actual price).
7. During this step you will also associate any other files this product requires. For example, if you have a model with .3DS and .MAX versions and you have them in separate ZIP files, you can now associate the second file to this one product. A single product can have many associated files.
8. You also need to associate a preview image with your product at this stage by picking from the list of available images you already uploaded. When you are done you simply submit the product and it will be live on the site within a minute.
