I will be making other types of chairs after that - got tired of modeling houses.

Also I would like to ask Matt, Lisa, Tracy, and whoever else is monitoring new uploads and changes to products, not to change my product names anymore as it makes things complicated when I want to make a collection later on, i.e. I will make a collection of 12 (or whatever number) stools and it would be better to have the individual 12 models with "stool" in the name (which is being changed constantly :) - even if the model has a backrest it is still a stool.

Thanks,

Pumper

Brand new house collection + a pack of 4 collection with 30% discount by Pumper

Hello everyone,

just wanted to let you know that I have finished my latest collection of 12 European style houses

This time around I made sure to split the mesh info different elements (between 16 and 19) by textures and materials, i.e. (for house nr1):

H01_Paint_01

H01_Paint_02

H01_Glass

H01_Windows

H01_Door

H01_Metal_01

H01_Metal_02

H02_Plastic

etc...

So it is much easier to add material and textures to the houses (unlike my previous models where each house is one mesh and you have to select the polygons individually (or by element) to apply different materials). You will only have to add UV coordinates and apply material/texture to the selected element - that is why I call the new house models "ready for texturing".

I have also decided to create a pack of 4 collection with a 30% discount.

Will be waiting for your comments, suggestion and critique.

Thanks,

Pumper

Introduction by Pumper

Hello everyone,

I wanted to start my blogging on the3dstudio.com by introducing myself:

I am 22 years old, born and live in Lithuania. I thing it was 1999 when I got interested in computer graphics and the reason was the first trailer for Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. As soon as I saw that fully 3d city I started dreaming that someday I could make one myself. But it was only few years later when I got my hands on copy of 3dsmax4.

Now I usually work with 3dsmax8. I am not good at rendering images so most of the time I spend modeling stuff. Sometimes I spend 3-4 hours a day trying to render something, but usually the final image doesn't look as good as I would want it to.

Also I have my own website - www.pumper.lt - where I post some of my work.

I think that is all I wanted to say.

Thanks for reading,
Pumper.
