New Nature Shots

Here are a few shots I took today in my backyard. If anyone can ID the magenta flower for me (for key wording purposes), I would greatly appreciate it!

Re the magenta flower... Could it be a variety of impatiens? Hard to tell without seeing the leaves or the plant. Is it something that comes up every year (perennial plant) or something that is planted from seed or as a bedding plant each spring?
