I am so glad that 2009 is over. It wasn't a good year for me at all. I did get my associate's degree in Game Design (with focus on art and programming) but that seems to be the only good thing, other than the fact that I have rededicated my life to God and Jesus (which I'm going full force as of 2010).
I did everything but destroy the first bicycle I had (thank God I didn't have to go to the hospital but the bicycle will never be the same) by carrying some clothes I needed for a class and running late and the clothes got caught between the fork and the front wheel and caused me to flip over. I had trouble sleeping the next few days because my arm was slightly torn (only the skin) and I had to get another bike or get a fork so I opted for the bike since I was able to get it sooner so I can keep going to class.
I took a leap and started looking for love online. That turned out to be a huge mistake as I had gotten scammed by someone who was "stuck" (I put it quotes because I'm not really sure if that person was really stuck there or not) in Lagos, Nigeria. I'm almost totally giving that option up for the new year, just a few sites but I'll look locally as well (I will let God lead the way). In the process, I had lost my bank account as well as my GameCube (and games that were in my possession at the time and the Game Boy Player that was attached to it), Xbox (and games), and some DVDs. I have since started recollecting everything that I lost and I am making a point in the new year to continue regaining what was lost to the scammer (personal note, let it go, let it go).
Oh, I was suffering from depression again in 2009. It wasn't this bad since 2006 just before my mother died (which made it worse that year). Instead of entertaining thoughts of taking my own life, I had sought out God for help. So far it seems to be helping as I am really looking forward to a prosperous 2010.
On that note, I do hope to have some sales of my products (I'm working on some which I will resume either Friday or Saturday), maybe getting either a part-time or full-time job (doesn't really matter as long as I get a paycheck), a better vehicle, and that one girl that God had put in this world just for me.
I hope that everyone in the 3D Studio community have a happy, safe, healthy, and prosperous new year and may God bless each and every one of you with plenty of sales for your products.
