The3dStudio.com as a company, and some of us individually, support www.Kiva.org, a non-profit organization with a mission to alleviate poverty by connecting people through lending—you can lend as little as $25. When your loan has been repaid you get an email from Kiva notifying you the money is ready to re-lend.
Here is a really neat short video that shows Kiva loans from 4/15/2005 when the first loans were made, to summer 2011. When the video was made, there had been over 4,033,920 unique lender/borrower connetions.
I hope you will check out the video and also hope that when you have an extra $25 you will consider lending it to someone less fortunate via Kiva.
