Found a great blog post on Microstock Junction on 23 Ways to Beat Photographers Block. Some great ideas here as well. I especially  #11. With Halloween right around the corner, I expect the thrift stores will have an overabundance of gently used costumes that would be perfect for a challenge like this.

Found this great link on Digital Photography School - 10 Ways to Jump Start Your Creative Edge - The Photo A Day Challenge. There are some great ideas here for looking at things just a bit differently than you do now. Who knows what great photos might come of it?

I often hear people complain that they can't get out and shoot when it's raining. Looking at these rainy day photos at the Digital Photography School site makes me wish for a little rain to have a chance to capture something so beautiful.

I just wanted to pop in here and get a blog up and running. Up until now I wasn't sure I had much to share as I'm just getting started in the world of stock and still have a lot to learn. But as of a few minutes ago, I have my first official sale and it's pretty exciting! Fall is obviously in full swing as someone just purchased a photo of my straw pumpkins!

 

 

I know this sale has given me incentive to shoot and upload more stock photos. I hope it does the same for some of you!
