Recently, I saw some tutorials from  Mikhail Rachinskiy on jewellery creations which was very inspiring for me so I decided that I will create some jewellery by myself as well.

As a first step I have created several different, special cutted gem models. I modeled the below gems based on USFG descriptions:

I am currently replacing / adding fbx files to all my models as I have noticed these are imported to 3ds max much better then the 3ds files I had.Almost half of my models have fbx versions now and I am continuously updating the rest.
