Potentially need Help
Posted on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
Hi everyone.
I have a project (tenatively) starting soon, to build model aircraft for a client in Europe. The models I will be providing must be ready to fly in X-plane. I have no problem modeling the number of planes needed or the types. Both helicopters and fixed wing are involved and most all of these are currently in service aircraft. However the issue is I need to have the models flying in X-plane. I need a model programmer who can program the cockpit and the exterior model of the aircraft. If I can find the individual to help, I will have between 5 and 10 models to do every year. If they are very good, there are 80 plus models in their lists and the rate would be increased.
So if you know your way around x-plane, please contact me and we will arrange a conference to talk about the potential of this project.
Thanks
Rick

Launching new models after 30 days
Posted on Monday, September 05, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
After thirty days of not uploading and posting, Dreamscape is back launching lots of models. We were not able to launch any new models during the past month due to schedule conflicts with special orders development, computer problems and outside demands on time. But during the past month were were able to do some building and get 6 new helicopter series nearly completed, two new business jets almost completed, a good start on a world war II fighter and make some progress on another world war II fighter. On Thursday last week we finally got the time we needed to jump on the helicopters and get 4 of the completed and on Saturday we launched those helicopter series. These are all later model helicopters and worth looking at.
We continued with launches on Sunday with a series of Citation Sovereigns and today we are posting Challenger 301s.
All are very nice models. Over the next few days we will be launching EC-155 helicopters. This month if schedules do not postpone launches, we are planning to also launch several new planes and one or two more new helicpters. There are still a few ship classes to build and we will continue development of ships as time also permits.
I sincerely hope that you will all take a look at our new models and purchase any of our library models should you need them. If you need something a bit different that we have posted, contact us through model request and we will build it specially for you.
Thanks
Rick Johnston

Dreamscape launched its new line of stock photography last week. So far 33 pictures have been posted by Signe, the Dreamscape resident photographer. The picture subjects include a lot of medievil doors, windows, walls and other building architectural elements. She also has posted some flowers and insects too. We have also begun posting pictures by David Graham. These are mostly skyscapes, scenery, and many interesting subjects. We began uploading today and will continue until all 80+ pictures are up sometime next week.

New 3D Model Warships in Low Poly
Posted on Monday, July 18, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
Dreamscape launched a fleet of new ships. One of our long term clients requested some low poly 3d model ships built. So after we were through with the clients models we went on to build series of each of the ships. Nimitz Class Carriers, Perry class Frigates, Ticonderoga Cruisers, Spruance Destroyer, Atago destroyers, Arleigh Burke destroyers and Blue Ridge Class Amphibious Command Ships were all added to our library in low poly. Most of these were in the order of 8K to 13K polygon size. All are as realistic as possible with that kind of polygon limit. Plans for the future are to build more of the high polygon ships. So check out our new warships.

New A-310s
Posted on Friday, July 01, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
Hi everyone!
Our new A310 series is up. There are quite a few liveries in this large series. Because of the success of the airplane over the years a lot of airlines flew it so we thought it only proper to give you a lot of choices. Our series included the -200 and -300 airplanes but the majority are the -200s. Hope you like them.
Thanks

Millenium Collections in their last days!
Posted on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
The Millenium Collections 2008 and 2011 are being taken down and will not be available for sale after 5 July 2011. These two collections are selling for about HALF price for the next few days and then after that will be removed forever! This is your last chance. 1000 models are available in the Millenium 2008 collection and 1500 models are available in the 2011 collection! These are the largest collections of 3d models available to the public anywhere! So if you have one of these in a shopping cart, you have viewed them and found yourself interested but you've been waiting for the best opportunity to buy, this is it. Just a few days left and its all over.
These collections will be replaced by much smaller collections with a few models. Collections this size will not be available in the future from Dreamscape Studios.
New Models, past and present
Posted on Monday, June 27, 2011 by Dreamscape Studios
Hi everyone.
It seems that we are in one of those periods when we are building nearly around the clock. Some of the new models that have been recently posted we have already blogged, but I think you need a heads up and what is coming up in the next three weeks or so. Martin B-12 and B-14 will go up in early July. A series of A-310-200 and A-310-300 are in the liveries process as of this blog and should start going up within 24 to 48 hours. The bare metal version is rendering now.
Four Helicopters including Sikorski 76, EC-135 and two others will be on line in a week or two. There are four more business jets for July and also the Hawker Sea Fury, and all new P-40s. So there will be more war birds, airliners, executive transports and helicopters from past and present. Aircraft carriers of the Lexington class will also be completed and posted in July or early August. I hope everyone enjoys seeing them come on line as much as we enjoy building them.
Have a great day.

The Growing Library
Posted on Friday, August 13, 2010 by Dreamscape Studios
The Dreamscape library continues to grow. Recently we passed the 6000 model milestone and now have 6069 models in the library. We posted many new model series to the library as well as replaced many of our older models with newer, more detailed and higher quality models. Since November 1 we have posted over 1400 new model products to our library.
The past weeks since our last blog have been at times very busy with special orders and other times the slowest I have ever seen in modeling business. Consequently we have spent a lot of available time adding more models to the library. New additions include: Grumman G-164 AgCAT, Katana, DHC-8 Q300, Do-328 Jet, D0-328 Turboprop, DC-7B, C-26, C-27, SA226, Dassalt Falcon 7X, Cessna Conquest and Titon, Fokker F-60, Casa CN-325, PCS Subchasers and Arliegh Burke Destroyers are some of the new models added since March. Many new collections have also been added giving our customers the opportunity to buy models in volumn and at low prices. We also replaced SPAD 7, Fokker F50, and Boeing B-47 and other earlier models with much higher quality model series and the B-47 includes several varients including B-47A, B-47B, B-47E, RB-47E and WB-47E.
The Beechcraft Starship models produced in 2005 were also replaced with a higher quality model earlier in the year. A second series of Starships was also added to our library. The Dreamscape Starship 2000A Ultras include really extreme detail inside and out. This series launched in June were developed specifically for Archangel Productions, a developer who is programming the model for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The Starship Ulta will be released for the public in September 2010 and is to include many special features and capabilities in FSX. We will keep you advised about when and where the model will be released. Our Ultra verisons are inclusive of all features, textures, materials and animatable parts as the models provided to Archangel Productions and are well worth the low $175.00 price tag. Several paint schemes are available. New Rutan designs will also be developed soon for Archangel Productions and further developed for FSX for release later this year.
The schedule for the near future is full of new models and replacements for older models in our library. Scheduled for replacement are the Spitfires, P-40s, F-104, B-58, A-1D, Me-110, Me-208, F-7-F, F-101, F-15 and F-11-C2. New models to be added include F-6-F, F-8-F, Do117, He111, Ju-52-3m, F-2-H, Aerospatial Caravelle, F-16, F-14, A-10, T-37 and A-37, F-22, F-35, P-36 and many more. Some new models will also be developed for historic aircraft and ships. The Ryan Special and Demoiselle are two we are planning on buiilding soon. Also some WWI fighters and bombers will also be developed and available soon. The Spruance class destroyers is now in development and should be posted in a about a week. The Berkley, Gearing and Kidd Class destroyers, and several classes of battleships are also on the schedule.
If you have request for something special, please feel free to let us know and we will try to add it to the schedule. We hope you will review our recent models and future additions to our library. We intend to continue providing the most in depth and diverse 3d aircraft library available and further develop the library to eventually include almost all aircraft all through history and from around the world.
Have a great week and let us know what you think of our library.
Rick
