Omega Desk and Chair

Just uploaded another model today - the Omega chair and desk by Atomere. Original model format is .3dm, as it was modeled with MoI 3d. I have been modeling a lot with MoI lately, and enjoy it's rapid workflow.

Just added my newest model. Created in Silo, this is the first time I have used this application for modeling - and I like it! The model was then imported into Blender to render with cycles.

My personal life and work life has been pretty hectic lately, so I have not had the opportunity or the drive to do anything new for quite some time. Adding to this, is the fact that Maya decided to break on my linux production machine, and I just have not had the time or motivation to fix it or re-install it. Feeling kind of antsy the other day, I whipped out Blender - I have not used it in several years, and man, what a different program it is from the one I remember! My main motivation for trying Blender again, was to give the new cycles render engine a go. Here is what I cooked up in only a couple hours (including render time!):
