I just reach my 300 th products... BIG JOB !

Hello everybody !

I just reached my 300th product!

I have the impression that it does not climb fast! I must admit that this is only three months that I am among you. If I trace the average, it gives me 100 products per month, 25 per week and3 or 4 per day.

When I see some members have made their 4000th or more product, I get discouraged a bit, but it does not take me too look at, but remained at this and ask me what I can create today.

It's a BIG JOB creating products, especially when there are several fields to fill, keywords find that go with the product concerned ... and save as much as possible to help customers search for ... BIG JOB! Under the worst side in the photos, but worst of other sides. But it is what it is!

In truth, I have much more fun to develop designs and textures, the chore of creating products.

But if you want to sell, it must produce and bypass the drudgery that it requires.

You, what do you think about that? Do you prefer the design or photograph of the product creation itself? Do you see that creating products a little or a lot like a chore?

Finally, I dream of the day I can create a post announcing my 1000th product. Until then, a little courage! I say to me.

--------------------------

Congrats on the 300th. I got as high as 700, but then deleted a bunch because I didn't think they would sell. I'm not sure where I am right now. I like shooting as much as creating a product. By that I mean working with a photo to get the mood I want. Just hang in there and remember, if you copy & paste your keywords and it goes much faster. Good luck.

Congratulations on reaching 300. As for the creation and publishing cycle, I enjoy both of them. The creation and design of products is definitely a more interesting job than say, filling out the publishing fields ect. However, to speed up the publishing process, I use a publishing template folder, which allows me to fill out the fields and sort the items for upload, before actually going online and posting them. In this way, when I am done creating the product, all I need to do is upload the product and its’ supporting files and copy / paste the product description from the template.

Thanks to you for your positive response, also very appreciated.

I love discussions like these. This allows us to help us understand how the other vendors think and feel about a particular thing or situation.

For my part, I am first and foremost a designer. I love designing projects, process my photos before publication if necessary. But when comes the time to publish online my products, it is a job wondering sometimes tedious effort of will, while creating projects makes me feel relaxed and requires no effort.

I use to create a notepad theme. For example, if I picture sky, I'm working on a notepad list of keywords next to the subject, and I will arrange to publish one subject at a time, and in each sky made online, I do a copy-paste of my keywords, with care to remove keywords not affected by the photo for publication.

However, the fields are more numerous when it comes to online 3d or textures, and worse yet when it comes time to create a collection, especially if it contains many files.

In fact, I did not complain of publication products. I just wanted to share my feelings about this subject, and, of course, receive feedback, question to know how you feel the publication.

Thank you for sharing your ideas, your feelings. It's nice of you.

No need for discouragement about the number of products you are uploading. You have to remember that a lot of publishers have been in the game for a long time and are just migrating their stuff to T3DS - they are not actually being created that fast!

Congratulations on reaching 300 products! And we like reading your blog posts and comments--you are helping yourself to get more exposure for your products and your friendly attitude is helping everyone here keep a positive attitude.

I love seeing your fall colors--we don't see trees change colors here in the Phoenix, Arizona area until January. In Chicago we had fall colors in fall but so many years the weather wasn't good to produce good colors and all we saw were brown leaves. I do not miss raking them off the grass and hauling them to the compost pile. And I do not miss having grass--here we have gravel instead of grass in our yard so we have much more free time.

I have created a few products--Matt made me do it so I could see what you all have to do. I found that I enjoyed thinking of keywords as I looked at the photos and I appreciate the talents you creative people have, to do both sides of the work.
