The3dStudio.com is one of the largest and oldest companies on the Internet offering 3D and 2D resources, and we are proud to also be one of the most well-known and trusted names in the industry.
I started the company around 1996, which makes us about 82 in Internet years. I began by offering only free resources, but as time went on I received many requests from authors who wanted an easy and affordable way to sell 3D products. So I decided to offer that option and turn The3dStudio.com into my full time business. When I incorporated the business in 2006 some of my family members joined the company.
We now offer both free and priced resources including 3D models, textures, tutorials, plug-ins, gallery art, software, and stock photos and images. Expert custom work is available. The 3D Studio has been invaluable. Not only are their models excellent and many times so realistic it's surreal, their customer service is beyond anything I have ever experienced. It is not often that you receive a response from a real customer service rep within minutes of sending your inquiry. But with my stressful experience, Matt was fantastic.
